Emma Herrera, a dancer, teacher, and choreographer specializing in Latin dances, is based in Montreal, QC.

As someone with roots in both Cuba and Mexico, dance has always been a significant part of my identity and my greatest passion. Growing up in Mexico, I immersed myself in various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms. In 2016, at the age of 19, I made the life-changing decision to move to Montreal, Canada, where I began to establish myself in the city's dynamic dance community.

Since 2019, I've been privileged to share my love for salsa through teaching both group and private classes. My teaching style reflects the fusion of my diverse background and training, including intensive sessions at the Conjunto Folclórico Nacional de Cuba. I strive not only to teach steps but also to ignite a passion for salsa, fostering a supportive community of enthusiasts eager to embrace the rhythm. Beyond the studio, I extend my reach by offering corporate classes and events aimed at enhancing employee engagement for associations and companies. Currently, I divide my time between Montreal, Canada, and New York City, spreading the joy of dance wherever I go.
